Street Fighter - a series of Japanese video games in the genre of fighting gamecreated by Capcom. Is one of the foremothers of the genre.

The first game of Street Fighter was created by Capcom in 1987. Then it was released several sequels, including Street Fighter II, Street Fighter Alpha, Street Fighter III, Street Fighter IV. 

Series has become especially popular after the release in 1991 of the second game series, Street Fighter II, then poluchivshevshey several updates and still retains this level. Games of the series was originally released on arcade machines (first on the systems CPS-1, CPS-2 CPS-3, and later on Sega NAOMI system and Taito Type X2), and then ported under almost all well-known gaming and handheld platforms from 3 to 7 generations.
